Todoroff Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 Teres $17.99
A wine with an intricate and complex bouquet - a well-balanced combination of black currant, cherry and perfectly ripened grapes, soft tannins and the spicy, smoky flavor of oak. These concentrated flavors are velvety mild on the palate with a fascinating, long lasting finish. To be served with: baked pork meat with mushrooms; baked red meats; sauteed mushrooms; new yellow cheeses with walnuts.
It is named after the Thracian king Teres, who established the Odrysses Kingdom in the 6th century. The Thracians believed that wine evoked the divine origins of man and was considered a sacred drink. The rich aroma and taste of wine was valued throughout the ancient world. King Teres valued wine and paid tribute to it by striking and issuing coins with an image of a vine on them. |

The Winery: Todoroff Boutique Wine Cellar is specialized in production of high quality red wines of "Mavrud", "Merlot" and "Cabernet Sauvignon" grape varieties in boutique series of limited quantity. The cellar is situated in one of the symbolic for the Bulgarian wine production villages - the village of Brestovitza. |
